There are two ways to connect your Android device to DTADroid, either USB or Bluetooth.
Both of these methods require a 15 pin to 9 pin conversion cable. These are available from your local DTA dealer.
USB
To use DTADroid with a USB connection, you will also require a USB to Serial conversion cable. Both FTDI and Prolific cables are supported.
Both cables have full sized USB connectors, so will require a USB to Micro USB converter as well. These are readily available on eBay and Amazon.
The disadvantage to using a USB connection, is that it is not possible to charge the phone, as the cables put the phone in to host mode.
Bluetooth
The only fully supported BlueTooth adapter is the one sold by LD Performance specifically for DTA S Series ECUs.
